Kimmy D’Souza is a Toronto-based musical theatre performer with a deep love for storytelling through song, movement, and character. A graduate of the Bachelor of Music Theatre program offered jointly by St. Lawrence College and Queen’s University, she brings a strong foundation in performance alongside a thoughtful, collaborative approach to her work. Whether onstage or in rehearsal, Kimmy is driven by curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to creating work that feels honest and alive.

Alongside her performance career, Kimmy is passionate about arts education and community engagement. She has worked extensively with young performers, using theatre as a tool for confidence-building, self-expression, and joy. Her experience as an educator continues to shape her artistry, reinforcing her belief that theatre is not only about performance, but about connection — to one another, to story, and to the communities in which art is created.

At the heart of Kimmy’s work is a belief in the power of art as both escape and reflection. She is especially drawn to projects that center underrepresented voices and explore themes of identity, resilience, and belonging. Whether she’s performing, teaching, or creating new work, Kimmy strives to tell stories that resonate — stories that invite audiences in, spark imagination, and leave room for possibility.
